With Morocco’s exit, all African nations have now been knocked out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Africa can still be proud of how its representatives performed on the global stage.

A well-run World Cup campaign by Morocco 🇲🇦. They gave everything throughout the tournament and deserve credit for how far they came.

That said, this wasn’t their best performance. They looked far too cautious, played with fear at times, and relying on one player to carry the entire team was frustrating to watch. Against a side like France, you have to be much braver.
