In leading your wife, you want to think of yourself as the captain, and her as the first officer.
Notice I didn’t say “master and slave” or “boss and employee.” But it isn’t mere partnership. It matters that you take the lead.
The old Star Trek movies showed a great bond between captain and first officer. In the original series, Kirk led from the gut and Spock was more intellectual. The Next Generation was the reverse, with Riker being emotional and Picard more cerebral. In either case, the captain’s first response in a crisis was to turn to his first officer. “Spock, analysis!” “Number one, options!” He trusted his first officer, who could captain the ship in his stead. But when red alert sounded, the captain was front and center.
The captain and first officer model isn’t authoritarian. A captain values his first officer, depends on her insights to do his own job well, and wants her fully trained to take his place if she had to. Both of them are committed to their mission, enjoy working together, and respect each other. It’s an effective partnership, but it isn’t ultimately egalitarian. There’s not endless fights about who’s in charge. Additionally, the captain is responsible for the first officer. If she’s not the best she can be, it’s on him.
Try it out. Don’t ask permission or insist she buy into the model, just act like a guy in charge. Proactively ask her opinions as if you rely on them to do your job well. If she feels like you are trying to limit her, are threatened by her agency, or are seeing her as “lesser,” she’ll resent it. Don’t do any of that. Just start taking action.

Maybe I'm tripping but isn't it safe to say Dangote's passion is business and/or management?
And isn't it safe to say that's what drives him?
Maybe I'm tripping sha.
This talk of disrespecting the previous generation for attention seems like rubbish to me, but you're worse than a liar if you think Nigeria wasn't easier then than it is now.
