British politics is a joke. An mp basically said I don’t think politicians should drink on the job and everyone is dogpiling on her and making excuses for bad Mp’s practicing bad behaviour 😭 it’s no wonder the UK is in the state that it is in
@SM13_CFC@FantasyWorldW1 There is no Europe mentioned in either of those films because it doesn’t exist in their worlds. Yes it’s based on some European culture but it’s entirely fictional. It’s not a complicated distinction and you know that.
@SM13_CFC@FantasyWorldW1 This is a silly take. Sinners is based in the US South and BP is a fictional Africa. If LOTR & GOT were based in a fictional early Europe then fairs but they’re only loosely based on Europe. It’s not a 1:1 comparison mate
I REFUSEEEE to jump on this Asics, New Balance trainer trend. Don’t matter how you wanna lace them up…
20 years ago in school you wouldn’t be seen in them trainers and now they are charging extortionate prices for them!
Not on my watch… straight Nike all day!
I told David Lammy the Greens are forecast to win in Tottenham.
He said: “I can 100% tell you that there is no prospect of the Greens taking my constituency. Absolutely none at all.”
@_ezlife1 What’s the problem about being happy on someone’s else behalf 😭 it could lead on to a trickle on effect in the future by showing the strength of unionising.
@ICtrlUMankylol @ruviexo You used to vote for them yes? Then you saw things you didn’t like. If those things change you won’t return yes?
I then wonder what things, previously overlooked, are inherent to the party that leadership change wouldn’t change?
Do you think Corbyn & starmers Labour are the same?
@ICtrlUMankylol @ruviexo The people choose who they want to be in parliament. If you don’t like Labour in its current form then don’t vote for them. They will have to change. When you like the changes they make then you can vote for them again. Ruling them out because of how they are now don’t make sense
@linmeitalks 2 questions then. Could you tell me what were the 3 main reasons you voted for Brexit?
1) trade with common wealth
2)Prioritisation of UK tradespeople
3)No fees sent to Europe (to save Uk money?
Is that a fair representation?
What would a realistic well done Brexit look like?
@Jboogie2707@linmeitalks We had members of MEP, we didn’t even follow all the rules (I.e we kept the £ rather than €), also what actual rules didn’t benefit the UK in your opinion that was worth leaving for?
@linmeitalks Also would be interested to know what trades specifically you and your friends work in because Brexit has 100% negatively affected lots of trade industries. I can hear the short contracts being a concern. But did that outweigh all the other concerns of a not well executed Brexit?
@linmeitalks Yes Brexit wasn’t delivered well by the Conservative Party that you supported. You want low taxes. I think that is paradoxical as Brexit reduced gdp and thus meant we have had to increase taxes in other ways to make up for lost income which affects working people the most.
