I just watched Ozzy Osbourne’s final journey through Birmingham and my heart honestly broke. Seeing Sharon so fragile at the Black Sabbath bench, standing in front of all the tributes, completely shattered it was so hard to watch. She looked like a woman holding herself together by a thread, surrounded by so much love and yet completely lost without him.

The whole Osbourne family looked heartbroken. You could feel the pain in the way they moved, the way they looked around at everything left for him. This wasn’t the funeral, but it was a goodbye. A final visit home. And it was one of the saddest things i’ve seen.

That stop at the Black Sabbath bench hit me hard. The flowers, the messages, the fans showing up to say thank you and goodbye it was more than just a tribute. It was a reminder that Ozzy wasn’t just a rock icon. He was a husband, a dad, a grandad. And his family is grieving a loss so deep no words will ever really touch it.

I hope Sharon and the kids felt the love around them today. You could see how much he was adored not just for his music, but for the man he was.

Rest in peace Ozzy. You’ll never be forgotten. 🖤

What happened to basic human decency? Seriously.
I’m struggling to wrap my head around how cruel and heartless people have become. How easy it is for some to mock, ridicule, and tear others down in their darkest moments, just for a few likes or laughs. It’s disgusting.

Whether someone is famous or not, death is not a punchline. Grief is not entertainment. And people like Ozzy Osbourne, who wasn’t just a rock icon but a husband, a father, a grandfather, a human being, deserve respect in both life and death.

The way some of you have come out of the woodwork to make vile, inappropriate comments especially aimed at Sharon during her time of loss is beyond unacceptable. Have you no shame? No empathy? It’s easy to sit behind a screen, spewing venom and mocking someone’s pain, when it’s not your world that’s just been turned upside down.

Let me say this as clearly as I can
If you can’t say anything kind, don’t say anything at all.
There is nothing clever or funny about making fun of someone’s heartbreak. There is nothing edgy about joking at the expense of someone else’s unimaginable loss. All it shows is a lack of character, a lack of compassion, and a complete failure of basic humanity.

Maybe some of us were raised differently. Raised to show empathy. Raised to be kind. Raised to understand that grief is sacred and deeply personal. Maybe that’s why I find this kind of behaviour so vile, because it’s the opposite of everything I was taught to be.

One day, you might feel that loss.
One day, someone you love might leave this world, and your heart will feel like it’s breaking into a thousand pieces. And maybe then, when you look around and see nothing but silence or mockery, you’ll understand the cruelty you once dished out. But it shouldn’t have to come to that for you to find a shred of decency.

To those hurting, especially the Osbourne family you are not alone. Some of us still have hearts.
Some of us still recognise the value of love, life, and legacy. And we honour it with respect, not ridicule.

To everyone else
Be better.
Think before you speak. Choose compassion over cruelty. And stop using someone else’s pain as your playground.
