@unrsnblrhino@BurnabyRCMP Check out Safe in the Seat on Instagram. They are a certified car seat specialist and provide really great tips. Always read the car seat manual and the car manual when installing.
@MortgageMark Hopefully this will shut the mouths of those who thought it was all about the money 🤦♀️ the new contract they are voting on has no change in money from the last one turned down. It was mostly all about this from the beginning.
@Richmond_Dad21@keithbaldrey@GlobalBC They do get a slightly higher hourly wage for working weekends and graveyard shifts, but wouldn’t anyone request that because those shifts suck. But it’s not a rate of OT (1.5x) as a regular job would pay. They also only get to work a certain amount of hours over the year.
@Richmond_Dad21@keithbaldrey@GlobalBC They don’t get overtime for working 7 days a week. It’s not like a ‘normal’ 9-5 job that’s the issue with the public thinking they know how this all works and they have no idea. My husband works 7 days a week. He doesn’t work,
He doesn’t get paid. He is sick, no pay.
@Greta_Cuntberg @DerekWilliams82@CNRailway@GlobalBC@CTVVancouver Lies?! You need to get your shit straight. But you’re just here to stir shit up seeing as how you only have been in this Twitter world for a month.
@Greta_Cuntberg @DerekWilliams82@CNRailway@GlobalBC@CTVVancouver Do you work 7 days a week? Do you know if your going to actually get to work every day or not? That’s how longshoring is, they make that amount yearly because they grind & work 7 days a week, if they can. There is no guarantee that these guys will even get a shift each day.
@ZHowg@GlobalBC Yes of course, if a landlord raises the rent then the DD is less as it’s based on starting rent. They would have to pay more if they moved into a higher rental.
@mcdegr@GlobalBC Because it is an account specifically for our rental property for money coming in and out so the account would earn interest on that balance which would have to be declared on income tax.
@hkainth10 @ryanjmartin28@GlobalBC It would be illegal to charge interest to tenant. The lease agreement outlines DD interest to be paid out at end of tenancy, but BC housing calculator has always said I owe $0 when doing the calculation when someone moves out. So we will see if that changes now.
@GlobalBC I would never charge interest to tenants. It doesn’t make sense that money is held in an account that doesn’t collect interest. I get it’s not much in the long run, but I make 0$ profit at the end of the month renting the home, so hoping it’s a tax deduction at least.
@GlobalBC Ok so as a landlord with a non interest earning account which holds my tenants DD i now have to essentially gift them money when they move out?!
