@lauriev88 @Ozobot@iRobot Agreed, they take some space for sure. Ozobots are much better for small spaces. I might have some concerns about durability. But, at the lower cost point, if one bites the dusts it is a little less painful than the more expensive options. #spheroeggdropchallenge
@lauriev88 @Ozobot@iRobot I've tried Ozobots, finch, and Sphero Robots in a middle school setting. I have also seen irobot in action at our Jr. Achievement day. I'd vote for Sphero or maybe irobot(I just have less experience with these to judge). Laurie, feel free to contact me directly for details
Pioneering #Mathematician found calling as a forceful & energetic advocate for students of color. She not only helped them get into graduate programs; she also fostered them once they arrived. (Dissertation: The Homology Theory of Metabelian Lie Algebras) https://t.co/yPZtQkOuPK
@CommonSense Yes, just be upfront about it. Maybe make a contract outlining the rules of having the phone. Including no expectation of privacy. Don’t go overboard though. As they earn trust back off more and be sure to reinforce that you are doing it to keep them safe and kind.
