@DefiyantlyFree You paid higher under Biden bc Russia invaded Ukraine and Trump pushed for a OPEC+ reduction of oil production for 2 years. Prices came down after his deal ended. Had nothing to do with green energy, in fact, all the green cars reduce demand for gas and lower cost of gas for all.

They eliminated things like grants for many major projects such as ones trying to win the race with China in fusion technology because it said "race" so it was obviously DEI. It set back the US in research and tech for decades in many areas.

@SaltyGoat17 Republicans have had control for 6 of the last 18, they have slashed corporate taxes, raised defense spending, and rolled back regulations on clean air and water. Democrats used their time to give people healthcare, roads, broadband,high paying jobs, and protected our money.

@SaltyGoat17 Democrats have had Congress for 4 years of the past 18. They passed the ACA, CHIPs act, Infrastructure act, rescued every major financial institution, dobbs frank law to prevent a future failing of institutions and rescued the car industry. Rs have done what in the 6 years?

They wanted Pence to certify the alternate electors, when he wouldnt, the plan was to go into the Capitol to make sure they didn't certify the election. Everyone was there to stop the transfer of power and was prosecuted for it

@RealJamesWoods DEI drifted into affirmative action. DEI is good, affirmative action is not. DEI is hiring void of identifying info, meaning we are looking at a candidate with no name, age, sex, race, college name. It prevents nepotism, ageism, racism, sexism etc. Hiring on skill and experience.

But, you don't think there is room to take some back from them in the form of taxes? Why some poor folks comparably stick up for them?

@MattyB187 @bonchieredstate It would have been good for JetBlue until the A320 neo issue hit and they had 175 extra planes out of service after way over leveraging themselves with the deal and a costly reorg to make the routes work. Then they would be hit with 2x fuel prices now and be in the same spot.

@Houseofyogi The end result will be the same and it is bad for consumers either way. Spirits assets will be bought by the bigger airlines. Their slots will be taken, pilots hired, and anything else chopped down. Same thing JetBlue would have done. Lower competition on routes, higher prices.
