Snapchat just banned AI generated content from Spotlight distribution. if your entire content strategy was "generate 500 videos a month and throw them at an algorithm" that bet is looking worse by the day. people want to watch other people. always have.
Going forward, wholly AI-generated content will no longer be eligible for distribution on Spotlight. Our goal is simple: reward authentic, human-made content and help original creators reach an audience.
