the other day my six-year-old nephew said, “Can I tell you a secret?” He whispered in my ear, “I’m a little bit nervous all the time.” me too kid, me too.
One of the 3 year olds in my class says “I’m dangerous right now.” whenever she gets frustrated and I don’t think I’ve ever related to anything so strongly.
One time I had food delivered and I walked upstairs to get it but they were still there when I opened the door, so instead of simply taking the food and thanking them, I made direct eye contact, panicked, and then shut the door before grabbing the food. It haunts me daily.
I do yoga with my Pre-K class every morning and today we were trying a new stretch and one of my 3 year olds looks at me and asks, "Mrs. Kiersey why do you want me to break my body?".
Does anybody else say "ouch" whenever something slightly inconvenient happens to them? For example, I just dropped an m&m on the floor and saying ouch was my automatic response.
