Boreas RC1 just went live as Dusk’s final major testnet milestone before full regulated rollout.
Meanwhile, NPEX is already targeting €300M+ of tokenized assets for on-chain trading.
$DUSK still sits near a ~$59M market cap.
Is the market underestimating regulated RWA infrastructure, or waiting for actual usage to arrive?
Dusk is building a Layer-1 designed specifically for regulated financial markets.
The focus is bringing securities, RWAs, and institutional settlement on-chain while preserving privacy and compliance.
Its stack includes:
• Privacy-preserving smart contracts
• Zero-knowledge compliance proofs
• Native issuance and settlement
• Institutional custody infrastructure
The key difference is that Dusk is targeting regulated securities markets directly rather than general-purpose DeFi.
That puts it closer to traditional capital markets infrastructure than most crypto-native RWA projects.
The NPEX partnership is important because it provides a regulated venue for tokenized securities instead of relying solely on off-chain arrangements.
There are still execution risks.
Despite the regulatory progress:
• DuskTrade remains scheduled for later rollout
• DuskEVM is still pending deployment
• Current DeFi activity remains limited compared to larger RWA ecosystems
Ownership concentration is another factor.
The top 10 holders reportedly control ~79.5% of supply, while the protocol still has room to expand toward a maximum supply of 1B tokens.
At the same time:
• No major exploit history surfaced
• No public team misconduct emerged
• Most early allocations are already unlocked
🪙Tokenomics
• Price: $0.11
• Market cap: $58.8M
• Circulating supply: 497M
• Total supply: 500M (max 1B)

Public blockchains weren’t designed for private finance.
Joining us on April 16th at 5 PM UTC is @HeinDauven, CTO at @DuskFoundation to discuss:
🔹Privacy-preserving infrastructure with Dusk
🔸Building compliant financial systems onchain
The space you shouldn't miss: https://t.co/Wy0LSeWaMj
Strategic autonomy in financial markets is not just about where data is hosted, and it does not require closed infrastructure either.
It means open infrastructure that regulated institutions can rely on without depending on non-EU legal frameworks or governance. That is one of the reasons we built @DuskFoundation the way we did.
Native Dusk is Privacy and is where confidentiality meets compliance.
Pioneering privacy tech for 7+ years.

This isn’t crypto competing with crypto.
It’s blockchain competing with global financial market infrastructure.
$Dusk is focused on the settlement layer of finance,
where trillions move every year and almost nothing changes.
The goal isn’t flashy. It’s structural:
replace slow, expensive legacy systems with regulated, on-chain clearing & settlement.
Zoom out, and this is where crypto is heading.
Less noise. More infrastructure.
That’s why this moment still feels early.
Infrastructure plays don’t look exciting at first,
until they quietly become unavoidable.
That’s where the real impact, and compounding, begins.

Pay attention to this.
$DUSK is applying under the EU DLT Pilot Regime to perform on-chain clearing and settlement - a role traditionally dominated by CSDs like Euroclear, clearing trillions annually.
If approved, the claim is ~90% lower post-trade costs via DLT.
That’s not a feature upgrade - it’s a potential shift in financial market infrastructure.
Mid-term timeline. High-impact implications.

I don’t usually get excited about mainnet launches, but Dusk’s recent step actually made me pause.
Back in January 2026, DuskEVM went live. On paper, it sounds technical: Solidity contracts with built-in zero-knowledge privacy, designed to work within MiCA rules. In practice, it felt like a response to a very real frustration I had just days earlier. I waited almost 20 minutes for a simple cross-chain transfer on another network because fees spiked and blocks got clogged. It honestly felt like using the internet in the early 2000s.
Dusk takes a very different approach. It doesn’t try to be loud or flashy. It’s more like essential infrastructure you only notice when it’s missing. The design prioritizes predictable finality and clean settlement over chasing raw speed. Blocks don’t change their behavior just because activity increases, which matters a lot when you’re dealing with payments or tokenized assets that need to reconcile cleanly.
What I also appreciate is how straightforward the role of DUSK is. You use it for fees, you stake it to help secure consensus, and validators earn rewards for keeping the system honest. Nothing fancy, just clear incentives that make sense if the goal is long-term reliability.
Low fees, near-instant finality, and privacy that still plays by the rules that combination is rare. With real assets entering the network and cross-chain flows becoming more practical, Dusk feels less like an experiment and more like a quiet piece of financial infrastructure being put in place.
Not exciting in a hype way. Reassuring in a “this should just work” way.

Curious what it takes to bring real financial markets on-chain?
@HeinDauven covered Dusk’s focus on RWAs, compliant privacy, and what makes Dusk different from other networks in yesterday’s AMA with Binance.

$DUSK is not competing with other L1s.
It’s building a native issuance & settlement layer — where compliance and ownership live onchain.
Liquidity lives everywhere:
→ Ethereum
→ Solana
→ even on TradFi
One issuance.
One settlement layer.
Many venues.
