Dear Minister
@DarraghOBrienTD@teslaeurope
The @Tesla Supervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) system has just been approved by the Dutch authority @RDWnl.
This is a groundbreaking decision that paves the way for a safer future on European roads:

The system has undergone exceptionally rigorous testing for over a year and a half. According to the official RDW statement:
> "Safety is an absolute priority for RDW. The proper use of this driving assistance system makes a positive contribution to road traffic safety."
Statistics published by @Tesla show that this system – under driver supervision – is seven times safer than the average human driver:

Every day of delay in approving this system statistically translates into accidents, injuries, and fatalities that could be avoided.
The remaining EU countries can now quickly follow the Netherlands’ lead. Thousands of people, including myself, are counting on your engagement so that Ireland can be at the forefront of this technological revolution and genuinely improve safety on our roads.
First (supervised) FSD approval in Europe!
Congratulations to the Tesla team and thank you to the regulatory authorities in the Netherlands for all the hard work required to make this happen.
Together with RDW, we have officially completed the final vehicle testing phase for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and have submitted all documentation required for the UN R-171 approval + Article 39 exemptions. The RDW team is now reviewing the documentation and test results package internally. They have communicated the expected approval for Netherlands date of 4/10, shifting from 3/20 previously and we look forward to successful completion of this cooperation.
Following the Netherlands’ approval, European countries will be able to recognize this approval nationally. We are anticipating a possible EU-wide approval during the summer.
Over the past 18 months, this approval has involved a series of intense documentation, development, testing, research & audits. Including but certainly not limited to:
– 1,600,000+ km of FSD (Supervised) testing on EU roads
– 13,000+ customer sales ride-alongs
– 4,500+ track test scenario executions
– Thousands of pages of written documentation for 400+ compliance requirements
– Dozens of research studies into safety performance/results
We're extremely proud of the work conducted with the RDW team up until this point.
We very much look forward to the approval in April, and sharing FSD (Supervised) with our patient EU customers!
Palace are what we are. We aren’t going to be top 4 but we have a great team, support and community. We will survive without Glasner snd I am not impressed with what he has said in this last week. So let’s get him out and some one new in. #cpfc.
@mozzaev You won’t regret it. I had an i3 in 2017, Tesla Model 3 in 2019 then moved to Ireland in 2022 and went diesel. Now I have the model y rwd standard ‘premium’ on order. I have driven PS2 a few times but my favourite was the Tesla by far.
Hi @elonmusk I have a new Model Y on order but no VIN yet, also today is my Birthday and so was wondering any chance of an upgrade. In return can offer a couple of nights stay in the Airbnb on my farm in the west of Ireland. Very quiet and peaceful, you could do with a short rest
@DonaldTrump this ceasefire has started well or was it just put in place to change the narrative so that Iran would be seen as the aggressor, most people know who the aggressor is and Israel aren’t likely to give up this opportunity.
