1. Johor adalah negeri yang pertama menandatangani Perjanjian MacMichael menyerah Johor kepada British dan hanya masalah pentadbiran agama Islam dan adat istiadat Melayu sahaja yang dikuasai oleh Raja.

2. Perjanjian itu dapat dibatalkan apabila orang Melayu di seluruh Semenanjung Tanah Melayu bergabung dalam satu pertubuhan yang dinamakan UMNO (Pertubuhan Kebangsaan Melayu Bersatu) dan membantah serta menolak perjanjian MacMichael dan Malayan Union.

3. Demikianlah apabila semua orang Melayu dari semua negeri-negeri bergabung British terpaksa tunduk kepada tuntutan mereka.

4. Tuntutan orang Melayu ialah Persekutuan Tanah Melayu mengganti Malayan Union.

5. Raja-Raja pun dikembalikan sebagai Raja Berperlembagaan (Constitutional Monarchy) dalam Demokrasi Berparlimen.
