SSDs are *shockingly* bad at power off retention, esp if it's near it's endurance rating.
The JEDEC standard only requires 1 year of unpowered data retention at 30C after max TBW (writes).
The 'bystander effect' is quite deeply embedded in Kenyans. I dare say mostly among millennials & Gen X's.
You can see it everywhere. Even at work. You can be going thru a difficult work situation & people will support you, but privately. In public, you'll be on your own.

One of the strengths of #Kenya is most of the most talented Kenyans stay in Kenya. Those that move abroad tend to return after a while. More experienced people in their 30s and 40s than you see in countries with a more severe brain drain problem.
I hope this doesn’t change.

Otherwise our glory day will be behind us. The world is *clearly* reinventing in sports in the above, and that's why we are being left behind.
