Isang caricature lang ay iniyakan na nila — nagfile pa ng diplomatic protest dahil binastos ko raw ang kanilang lider. Ngunit dito, sa video na ito na mahigit isang minuto, ang binabastos at minamaliit ay ang ating pagka-PILIPINO mismo!

Naaalala ko tuloy ang ilang senador na nagsabing kailangan ko raw humingi ng tawad sa China. Ngayon kaya, sasabihin din ba nilang ang China naman ang dapat humingi ng tawad — dahil tayong mga Pilipino mismo ang binababoy ng video na ito?

Mga kababayang Pilipino hindi po tayo UNGGOY, at huwag tayong pumayag na gawing UNGGOY! Ang mga hayop lamang ang mga nakakagawa ng ganitong pagturing sa kapwa tao at mas masahol pa sa hayop ang hindi marunong sumunod sa international law!

Ito ay sinundan ng “EDSA Dos” People Power Revolution kung saan napatalsik si President Estrada mula sa Malacanang.

Samantala, ang 11 senador na bumoto laban sa pagbubukas ng sobre kinalaunan ay binansagan ng publiko bilang “Craven Eleven” o mga duwag na mambabatas.

Fast forward tayo ngayong Hulyo 2026, pagdedebatehan ng mga senator-judges sa impeachment trial sa Lunes, Hulyo 20 kung isasapubliko ang tinaguriang “BIR box” na naglalaman diumano ng tax records ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa isyu ng "ill-gotten wealth" na inaasahang magdudulot ng panibagong tensiyong pulitikal sa bansa.

“Paano kami hindi kakainin ng sistema?”

As a result, he shared ten things he does or thinks about regularly to avoid being eaten by the system.

Here are the TEN THINGS that Mayor Vico Sotto does or follows to keep his integrity:

1. Preparation is more important than courage.

2. Make a list of non-negotiables and review them regularly.

3. When in doubt, choose faith conscience and integrity over money power and ambition.

4. Study cognitive dissonance and continuously identify how and where it affects you. Your decision-making and opinion-forming.

5. Get out of your echo chamber from time to time.

6. Check your ego every single day.

7. Have people in your life who share the same or similar principles, values, and beliefs.

8. Allow said people in #7 to keep you grounded.

9. Give these people the license to hold you accountable.

10. Have a healthy level of respect but also be willing to go against the status quo.
