When people say our ancestors didn’t document knowledge, I’m thinking they did but it has to be memory based maybe because the knowledge must be internalized to be truly known.

As for “ paper sources “, the ability to read something doesn’t mean you know it for example, many can read the word “ Ijebu “ without knowing anything about “ ijebu “ even though they can read it.

Today, there are so many books about so many things loading the human mind with so much information that it barely gets to use…

like with the internet, we all come across information we barely use afterwards ( if we ever use it ).

In conclusion, there are so many ways of passing information down generations however, isn’t it brilliant that they coded so much information in such a way that only deeply connected insiders can access it?
