"Mkanda Salama" unatoa suluhisho lisilo na madhara kwa kujifunga kuzunguka tumbo la mama ili kudhibiti kutokwa na damu mara baada ya kujifungua. Kifaa hiki kinasaidia kuhamasisha usafirishaji wa wagonjwa kutoka vituo vya afya vya msingi hadi ngazi ya rufaa ya juu, na pia kinaweza kutumika kwenye magari ya wagonjwa na kadhalika.
Tofauti na vifaa vingine kama vile “uterine balloon tamponade”, “condom tamponade’, na “ anti-shock garments”, Mkanda Salama una sifa za kipekee kwa urahisi wa matumizi, gharama nafuu, na inaweza kurudiwa kwa matumizi. Inaweza kutumika na mfanyakazi wa afya yeyote katika mazingira mbalimbali kote nchini Tanzania. Utafiti wa awali uliofanywa kwa kushirikiana na Taasisi ya Ifakara katika Hospitali ya Rufaa ya St. Francis umeonyesha kiwango cha ufanisi cha zaidi ya 84%, na matokeo yake yamechapishwa kwenye Jarida la Sayansi, Teknolojia, na Ubunifu la Afrika Mashariki.

"Co-Founders Breakup: How to Move Forward Gracefully"

Earlier today, I spoke with a startup founder who wants to leave his team due to a lack of shared vision and unbalanced commitment from other members.

Reflecting on this, I realized that most startup advice focuses on building rather than what to do when things aren’t working out. Like any other relationship, breakups are never easy. It's possible to lose both the business and the quality relationship you had, but there’s no reason to lose both. You don’t need to burn bridges. Friction in ideologies and vision happens in any relationship.

Here’s a guide for founders who want to leave their existing startups and start fresh:

✅ First, communicate your discomfort with your team. There’s a chance that the problem you’re facing can be addressed.

✅ Second, be true to yourself about whether you want to stay in or get out, and stay firm in your decision. Indecisiveness creates more chaos.

✅ Third, have an honest conversation with your team once you’ve decided to leave. Offer to help with the transition if needed. If you want limited involvement, communicate this and see if both sides are okay with it.

✅ Fourth, discuss the issues that brought you together. Reflect on the great memories, both good and bad, and wish each other the best of luck with a commitment to continue the relationship outside of business.

✅ Fifth, never take anything personally. People go through a lot that influences their decisions. Respect their choices and move forward in different directions with love and respect for one another.

Life is too short to stay in a place where you feel you don’t belong."
