Day 3
Hi Vesti Tech Inc @VestiOfficial
“To the finance department or whatever department is responsible for processing transactions”
It has been a considerable period since I submitted a withdrawal request on the Vesti application, and this request remains pending without approval to date. Please note that i initiated this withdrawal since 2nd December, 2025 (8 months and counting)
Despite several email communications on this matter, my personal efforts to secure a resolution have unfortunately not yielded any progress. It is for this reason that I find it necessary to raise the matter through this public channel.
I respectfully request that my transaction be duly approved and my funds released to the designated account through which the withdrawal was initiated. I remain willing to furnish the relevant transaction details to facilitate prompt identification and verification by your finance team.
@Olusolamusan@bimboamusanesq In your capacity as the CEO & COO of @VestiOfficial I would be most grateful for your kind intervention in this matter, having been unable to reach the finance department directly for an amicable resolution.
Thank you.
No, she caused it. She didn’t handle the situation well and didn’t bother to address the fall out at all. Had two years to reflect but saw nothing wrong in her reaction. I have nothing to do with it. In fact, I am being very gracious and I hate that many people are being intentionally obtuse about the whole thing just because they are loyal to her.
A company’s letterhead must state:

@SamoraFortune I asked her a question on affordability of the fees especially for young lawyers on Monday at the NBA Lagos event. She said it expressly that anyone that cannot afford the fees should stay at home.
There's nothing as reassuring as marketing a marketable product. Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, SAN is so ideal and competent that those supporting him do not need to join issues with supporters of other candidates or pull other candidates down. Merit for merit, he's numero uno.
In my adult life, I am increasingly learning to talk only when I have something to say. To openly choose and canvass support for LOA was not a knee-jerk decision. It was reasoned and advised. So much that I could beat LOA to discussing his own manifesto and plans. I have studied it that much. I know it like the way to every corner of my room, even if my eyes were shut.
Many factors informed my decision to choose him as THE candidate. One of such is the general disposition of his supporters to campaign. When I mentioned my position to my colleagues, it was so easy to have their support for him. They trust my judgement that much
But it wasn't just that. He is that good that even his name precedes him.
Before my decision to go for him, I was doing a piece to interrogate the candidates. Every material I stumbled upon to do that work speaks for and not against Akangbe.
I honestly do not buy the campaign of pulling one candidate down to promote one. I think the work actually lies in putting your candidate out there and telling the world what they have done and can do.
Listen to Mr. Akangbe. Pick his file and check through his credentials and what he has done. Who won't cast their vote for him?
In fact, I won't benefit from some of his campaign promises because I have crossed the 10-year mark, but they resonate with me. Life as a lawyer within that mark could have been much easier and rewarding for me with an Akangbe president. Colleagues who are within that range should grab the chance.
The character of a nation is known by the men it crowns. Electorates of the bar. Those upon whose hands lie the decision. The majority of our learned populace, the crown fits Akangbe. Look at Mr. Akangbe. See what he has done. Listen to him.
Who else personifies the bar that we shall be proud of? Who else speaks to the character of an ideal bar and the level our bar deserves to be?
ONLY AKANGBE, SAN. THE candidate!
Several years ago, I got an offer to join a firm. Everyone I told about it discouraged me from joining the firm, particularly that team. And it was because of the person in charge and how badly the person treated the members of the team. I had no reason to think they could all have been lying about this person.
That same person is one of those vying for the office of the NBA president in the coming elections.
I believe one of the key metrics against which candidates should be judged is how they treat their staff. If you do not treat your own staff well, why should the Bar trust you to lead them and treat thousands of lawyers any better?

One lesson from this is never to tie your identity or self-worth to any employer. Give your best wherever you work, but always remember it’s a business, and decisions can change overnight. Keep building your skills, your network, and your personal brand so that one setback doesn’t define your future.
Wishing you bigger and better opportunities ahead.
