@torioftexas @AnnaRMatson I agree with you, the problem is really poor LCs do harm. A really good one will be able to tell who just needs better support to breastfeed and one who needs to accept that exclusivity breastfeeding isn’t possible for some moms (1/2).

@TXWrestlingGirl @AnnaRMatson With PCOS approximately 1/3 overproduce, 1/3 underproduce and 1/3 produce normally. A good LC will give you realistic expectations and not put you through tortuous triple feedings etc. The most important thing is feeding baby and promoting nurturing between mom and baby!

A few women can’t make milk with proper help—like IGT, some breast surgeries, some PCOS, diabetes etc and some because of baby issues. I wish every woman had good support.
