The situation of DHH Malkangiri, the remotest place in odisha where a posting is considered punishment. The duty doctor is being bragged and beaten by 100s of mob. Where is security? Where is law? Who will work in such condition? We demand strong action. @CMO_Odisha@PMOIndia
A patient asked a brilliant question:
“If Type 2 Diabetes is caused by insulin resistance, then why do we give insulin injections in Type 2 diabetes at all?”
This is one of those questions where understanding physiology completely changes how you see the disease.
A young man made a horrible “₹370 biryani vasooli” remark. People were shocked, and he is getting trolled. Rightly so.
A young medical student made an offensive comment about cadavers. It was unacceptable and unbecoming of a doctor. She is also getting trolled. Rightly so.
Both crossed red lines.
But when people start calling the first one a rapist and the second one a pervert, they are also crossing a red line.
You cannot reach such serious conclusions on the basis of one line said in a comedy show, where the atmosphere itself encourages people to cross boundaries and say sensational things.
If that boy actually forced someone, he should be in jail. It would be a very serious crime. But if he did not, you cannot hound him as a rapist, shouldn't have been fired from his job, don't destroy his life.
As far as the girl is concerned, the demand to remove her from medical college and the character assassination going on are also not justified.
What they said was wrong. They should be criticised.
But because they had lapses in judgment, do not destroy their lives.
This tractor driver should receive capital punishment.
Do you know that every year, more than 100,000 Indians lose their lives due to overloading and overspeeding?
The majority of them lose their lives solely because of the negligence of others.

-Becoming a doctor in India is relatively easy.
-Becoming a doctor from a government college is difficult.
-Becoming a doctor from a middle-class family through a government college is even more difficult.
-Becoming a doctor from a middle-class family, through a government college, and from the general category is nearly impossible.
-Becoming a first-generation doctor from a middle-class family, through a government college, and from the general category is impossible.
Kudos to first generation warriors-
You are not just fighting for a degree -you are breaking generational barriers, rewriting your family’s story, and proving that dreams don’t care about categories or bank balances.
Stay focused. Stay hungry. Keep grinding.
