三十歲退休？

去朋友家參加聚會，有五十歲的前輩，傳授人生經驗。

他說，成功的人生，就是三十歲退休，有被動收入。

接著，他就以自己為例……

在美國華人圈，“被動收入”一詞，就是指收房租。

他這一二十年來，都在享受被動收入，打高爾夫球。

起初，聽得畢恭畢敬的，頻頻點頭，腳都不敢伸。

趁間歇，欠禮貌地問了一句，您投了多少房產？

得知也沒幾套後，我就伸了伸腳。

三十歲退休，買房子租出去，每月收租金。無聊的話，就找一項運動，管他是廣場舞，還是高爾夫球。

我想起北野武的話：這樣無聊的人生，不如去死。

為什麼要引用別人的話？因為別人是名人。如果我說，我自己有這樣的想法，讀者就會認為，是你這人腦子有病。但若我引用名人的話，說北野武也這麼看，那要麼證明，我說的有點道理，要麼證明，腦子有病的不止我一個。

以上都是心裡活動，以下才是說出來的話。

我端起杯子，向前輩示意一下，說：如果到了五十歲，有主動收入，也是挺有意思的人生。

大家哈哈大笑，在中年人圓融而喜悅的氣氛中，彼此碰杯。

想想看，Elon Musk，五十一歲了，他早該在20年前退休，享受被動收入。

但他依然在工作，而且享受工作。

他是還缺錢？

最近，Apple出版了一本電子書，Steve Jobs 未公開的書信演講集，書名是他自己的話：Make Something Wonderful!

做點有意思的事，做點精彩的事......

有一張他的照片，看起來也三十歲左右，似乎沒有要去做包租公的意思。

我是覺得，三十歲起，開始有一些被動收入，這很好。

但更好的是，到五十歲時，還有主動收入。有生活的熱情，有挑戰的目標，做自己熱愛且擅長的事、頗有挑戰卻也頗有成就的事、帶給他人不可替代價值的事。

而且，身為父母，在孩子眼裡，整日躺著享受被動收入，總感覺病懨懨的，沒精打采。

作為榜樣，也得活得有力量些。

更何況，這真是最精彩的時代，每天層出不窮的新事物，在過去的137億年中，都從未出現過。你覺得日出日落很尋常，但每天確實都是嶄新的。
