@lever_colin@keenjersey@DurrellWildlife I have a lot of respect for Lee and all that she has put up with in recent years. As I said in my opening speech last night, there is email evidence to show she has supported those raising concerns so I’m not sure what has changed and wouldn’t want to assume.
@lever_colin@keenjersey@DurrellWildlife keepers being ignored when making suggestions for better welfare for animals such as the sloths & aardvarks; volunteers who were listed as witnesses for an employment tribunal (have all had volunteering responsibilities removed -board refuses to acknowledge / apologise
@lever_colin@keenjersey@DurrellWildlife Some facts include: at least 24 people have contacted the trustees in the last 12 months to raise concerns around bullying & intimidating behaviour by a director and CEO; sexually inappropriate comments made by a male director to young (21yo?) employees and students…
@WarrOnWords I will be voting the other way, as I think an independent investigation is the best way to ensure they the Trust can continue to do its amazing work, with least risk.
I am happy Durrell has so much support - we will all vote with the Trust’s best interests in mind (and heart)💚

@HRNowLTD @HRnow@GaryBurgessCI This was such good fun and for an amazing cause! A great way to do something as a team, even though we can’t be together.

@MarkCoxJsy Exactly. We are all entitled to an opinion and a voice but the amount of personal insults hurled during this situation (the whole COVID 19 period, rather than this specific incident) has been unnecessary and unkind.
