ever played with a guy who gets super emotional at the poker table?

the guy who high fives you after stacking someone, but throws his cards at the dealer angrily after losing a big one.

these type of players are unbelievably easy to exploit. i call this player type the “luka doncic”

the secret? we just need 2 different playbooks against him. one if he’s up and happy, and another completely different playbook if he’s stuck and tilted.

if he’s up:
- overfold to his aggression
- overbluff him
- size down with value

if he’s stuck:
- get super sticky, call him down light
- turn down the bluff knob, he’s not folding made hands
- size all the way up with value, and go SUPER thin

easy game.

one BONUS tip: if you have solid emotional control, always run it once against these guys when all the money goes in. running it once vs twice doesn’t change your EV, but it does increase the chances this guy goes on insane donkey tilt from losing a big pot.
