I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
and by the Holy Spirit
was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son
is adored and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy,
catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one baptism
for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
It is not always easy to understand and accept God’s ways, especially when they are very far from our own. Then the temptation arises — against all the reasoning of faith — to think that the Lord is the one who is wrong, or worse still, that he is not listening to us or is not concerned about us.
This will be an unpopular opinion on the Right but I think this is kind of dumb, even as a troll. Lake Ontario was given that name on maps by European explorers long before the Canadian province of Ontario was named. There are several cities in America called Ontario -- at least one of them predating the Canadian province by like 100 years -- because the word originates with native tribes in North America. It's not a Canadian invention. Canadians never uniquely owned the lake or the name. So in effect all you're doing here is actually giving them credit for a thing that wasn't theirs to begin with. Yeah it's funny when Canadians are upset I guess or whatever, but Lake Ontario, the name itself, is *American* history dating back many centuries. Not sure how you own Canada by deleting your own history.
Today, we have been at War with Iran for SIX MONTHS.
The 1973 War Powers Act required Trump to withdraw forces within 90 days absent authorization from Congress.
They ridiculously claimed to stop the war & restart new hostilities @ 91 days.
We are past 180 days. End the War.

This morning, President Trump announced action against the four companies that dominate American beef processing and signaled he wants to give ranchers more freedom to process their own product. Two of those four processors are controlled by foreign corporations. More competition in processing is a step in the right direction, and we support it.
But if the goal is actually to lower prices for American families, the most direct path is mandatory country of origin labeling. Without it, imported beef enters our supply chain, sits beside American beef in your grocery store, gets blended into ground beef, and is sold without any obligation to tell you where it came from. There is nothing requiring the savings from cheaper imported beef to be passed along to you.
Give consumers transparency and let them choose. That is how a free market is supposed to work. Competition only functions when people know what they are choosing between.
We can support a president when he gets it right and respectfully challenge him when we believe he gets it wrong. That is not political. That is the job.
Break the processing bottleneck. Bring back mandatory country of origin labeling. Give every American, Republican, Democrat, independent, or libertarian, the right to know where their food comes from.
This baby boy was born at just 28 weeks, weighing only 2 lbs 9 oz. Now, he weighs 6 lbs 9 oz.
He was no less human at 2 pounds than he is today.
Size, age, and stage of development never determine a child’s worth.
Saint Thérèse of Lisieux had a deep love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, whom she called her loving Mother. She trusted Mary completely and believed that Mary always guides her children with tenderness and compassion. Thérèse desired to imitate Mary’s humility, simplicity, and complete trust in God.
We understand why beef prices are a problem right now. Ground beef is averaging $6.89 a pound, up 57% since 2021, and that's real pressure on American families.
But flooding the market with 300,000 metric tons of imported ground beef with no tariff for 90 days is not a solution for American ranchers. It's a short-term price fix that puts more downward pressure on the cattle producers who are already struggling to stay viable. Trump has not said which countries this beef is coming from or who committed to the 25% price reduction he's promising.
American cattle ranchers have been dealing with years of drought, high feed costs, and a shrinking herd. The answer to that is not more cheap imported beef with lower standards competing against them on shelves with no country of origin label required to tell you the difference.
We will continue to source 100% American. That is not changing.
Evil cannot be overcome with evil. On earth as in heaven, love is the law of life and the way of redemption, the way of the crucified Messiah. In opposition to the false realism that rearms minds, words, and nations, Catholic culture must today offer the realism of mercy, according to which there can be no enemies. Everyone, even our adversaries, is a brother or sister to be looked in the eye and encountered in truth. #PastoralVisit #Rimini
The world does not need an artificial intelligence that diminishes humanity; rather, it needs human intelligence enlightened by wisdom, political authority guided by conscience and technological innovation directed by charity. Only then will artificial intelligence become not a rival to humanity but a servant of the common good.
“Let us not forget what will happen at the final Judgement: the Lord will not ask us, “What have you studied? How many degrees did you get? How many works did you undertake...?” No, no. Instead, “Come, come with me”, the Lord will say, “for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was persecuted and you cared for me”. That is the subject of the final examination on which we shall be judged.” - Pope Francis
Butler County Ohio has voted to end Flock.
This came after an Ohio Grand Jury failed to indict an Ohio deflocker.
They don't have a legal or constitutional argument to bring a case. It's a clear Fourth Amendment violation.
Stay the course. Keep the pressure on.
