Be mad, because I say so! Boo HOO! Shut the fuck up.
Meanwhile, Lincoln would think this is rad as fuck...
Here's a little history lesson on ol' honest Abe:
Lincoln stood about 6'4" (very tall for the era) and was powerfully built from years of manual labor like rail-splitting and farming. In his early 20s in New Salem, Illinois, he gained major local fame as a wrestler and rough-and-tumble fighter.
His most famous bout was around 1831, when he decisively beat Jack Armstrong, the tough leader of the Clary's Grove boys (a rowdy local gang).
Lincoln reportedly lifted Armstrong up and slammed him when the guy tried to cheat. #beastmode
This victory earned him huge respect in the community and helped launch his early reputation. He did wrestle/grapple a lot in informal "scuffling" matches common on the frontier (no strict rules, more like catch-as-catch-can brawling).
Popular stories claim he had ~300 matches with only one loss (to a guy named Hank/Lorenzo Thompson during the Black Hawk War in 1832).
He's even honored in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame for his skills. However, serious historians note that hard evidence is thin β probably just a handful of well-documented matches, and the exact "300" figure is likely inflated legend over time (similar to tall tales about other frontier heroes).
@The_LFB@AEW@DarbyAllin People are trying to give you an answer to your stupid question and you're all "Nah."
It's set up that has been taking place for over 5 years.
