What incredible female are you writing or directing this week?

#amwriting #directher #femalefilmmaker #director #scriptchat

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

I thought so. 🙌🏻

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

Feel your pain. I’ve only been in the game for two years and I’ve already - without being paid - been passed over for the studios own screenwriter.

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

Generally, as notes get more detailed, I ask for a meet. So much more can be done in person. I’m glad at the higher levels this practise is more commonplace.

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

Sometimes something jazzy would actually help,

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

I mean this sounds like the dream.

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

It’s hard when the notes are from the director...you have to care!

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

Do you struggle to ask for something more... concrete?

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

I hope you crushed it.

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

I’d love a detailed bullet pointed response - page numbers ideal.

[Stories in Motion @Chris_Esper]

@shortfilmfemme All the above, but I often preferred detailed bullet points or notes on the script itself.

[Kill Me Quick @killmequickfilm]

I do struggle with notes. It needs to be practical and often tends towards...vague.
