@RoperAJ95 Bitch the dude is falling over before Argentina player arrived, what are you watching this on where you can't frame by frame advance and see the dude already losing balance? This is such an engagement bait controversy, nobody seriously believes it
@FemiCoolfm VAR checks everything, you fuckin fool. Are you one of those morons who mistakenly thinks that VAR only reviews plays when the on-field ref goes to monitor?
@AwayDaysFB Would you shut the fuck up? VAR looks at everything, you're one of those idiots who thinks shit is only reviewed when the ref goes to the monitor, which only happens when the VAR determines a mistake was made and asks the on-field ref to look.
@WasEinHumburg@Drumanji Nevermind that four ex-Premier League referees who had VAR experience said it was not a red and that improper VAR procedures were used? Ok.
@elitechads@algernonradish@ZwebackHD absolutely no way you can call that an intentional play. The laws of the game state the player has to have sufficient time to make a decision
@elitechads@algernonradish@ZwebackHD Intentional is a judgment call in which deference almost always goes to the defender because intent is difficult to prove. If Matanovic hadn't touched it, they may have ruled he intentionally played it, but when Matanovic flicked it inches away from the defenders head, there's
@elitechads@algernonradish@ZwebackHD It doesn't matter if the initial pass went directly to him, he was offside when Matanovic touched it and seconds later he touched the ball.
confident these morons are, the least you can trust them. They won't back down even when the league/head of officiating publicly states the call was wrong.
Btw this posting style is called a "thought terminating-cliche".
Every time there's a controversial red card, there's always a bunch of loud morons who will say "IF YOU KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT SOCCER/FOOTBALL, YOU'D KNOW WHY THE REF HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO MAKE THAT CALL DUE TO THE LAWS OF THE GAME".
You can safely ignore these idiots.
Anybody who suggests that there's no subjectivity in the way refs officiate doesn't know the game. Sure, some calls truly are obvious and have a definitive "right" answer, but a fuck ton of calls do hover in very grey area where the refs do have latitude.
Usually the more
