The Christmas lights will be going on across the villages of Inverclyde tomorrow. Quarriers at 4pm, Kilmacolm Cargill Centre at 6pm, Inverkip Hub at 5.30pm and Wemyss Bay Community Centre at 7pm. Join your local community for these festive events.

Saddened to hear of Trish Godman's death today. A "99er" with a ready smile and a gentle manner, her election twice as the Scottish Parliament's Deputy Presiding Officer was testimony to the affection in which she was held. MSPs and staff send her family our deepest sympathy.
