@FutPrimeBrasil Because TODAY the 4th of July, the host had the US sing the national anthem at all games and there was a special 250 Anniversary program at each game. It has only been sung at US games prior to this.

@RyanWeather There is a command ctr with all appropriate agencies and meterologists who made the call. Usually it's high winds because all those security tents and staging could have come down on people and lightening.

Enjoy Country Roads even though the some of the outdoor performances had to be moved inside or cancelled because of high temperatures. Can't get enough of Country Roads.

They were about go on stage at the National Mall for the Freedom 250 festivities here in Washington, D.C.

But then there was a heat advisory (it’s 38°C) so everything outdoors was canceled. Instead, here’s the next best thing, since I just can’t get enough of “Take Me Home, Country Roads”

It’s a love letter to a beautiful part of America, the open road, the freedom to wander, and that deep, undeniable pull back to where you belong.

If you ever want to see history come alive, visit Faneuil hall and have the NPS docent give you a tour (I think his name was Sean). I just saw him on CNN and he has so much passion for history, I am going up there when it gets a bit cooler. Fascinating!
