Morgan Freeman was not wrong when he said, "Become a man who can face a breakup. lose a job. deal with debt and still say, ‘God is with me. I’ll figure it out."
This is the first time in the history of this country that the government is protesting. The Standard Media Group is working very hard to inform Kenyans.
As a Kenyan, I distance myself completely from President Ruto’s glowing tribute to Wicknell Chivayo.
Those condolences and that “dear friend” language are his own, not mine, as a Kenyan.
Chivayo had a prior criminal conviction and served an effective three-year prison sentence, while his later dealings in major public contracts repeatedly attracted controversy and scrutiny.
Kenyans are speaking for themselves on social media because public money lost through corruption and rotten procurement is money that never builds schools, hospitals, roads or other services ordinary people desperately need. Some died, because of this corruption.....
So please, Mr President, mourn your friend in your own name. Do not dress personal friendship with powerful businessmen as though the whole country shares the sentiment.
