@XhubugaH @UGLawyer What could limit hoima is accommodation , and a proper hospital , which are already being worked upon , this still will meet the AFCON 2027 goals . But regardless HOIMA is already a major city by having a stadium , an airport and tourism , soon people will flood that city ✅

Kampala Minister Minsa Kabanda defends the ban on street vendors, hawkers, and unlicensed transport in Kampala, saying it's about restoring order, safety, and cleanliness, not politics.

She acknowledges vendors' concerns but notes they've taken over walkways, roads, and drainage channels, worsening congestion and health risks. The ban aims to support formal businesses and improve waste management. A two-week grace period is given, after which KCCA will enforce the ban strictly, including arrests.

Kabanda urges residents to separate politics from governance and support efforts to organize the capital, saying "I love the people of Kampala, and this is for their own good" 😊.
