What kind of government responds to the cries of its people with force, then turns around and offers compensation as if that alone is justice?
The events of June 25, 2024, left deep wounds in our nation. Lives were lost, families were shattered #accountability#justicetothevictims
@citizentvkenya Riggy G keeps beating these government mandarins at their own game. Their response to the country’s security situation has been disappointing they seem clueless, complacent, and completely detached from the seriousness of the situation. Bure kabisa!
More than 40 years ago, I arrived in Chicago in search of an idea. I was a young man looking for purpose, who believed deeply in America, was inspired by the Civil Rights Movement, and wanted to be a part of something larger. The America I believed in was one where everyone has opportunity, everyone is seen, everyone belongs—because that was an America that had a place for me, too.
The French cut off the head of their King and Queen for arrogance of a level much lower than that exhibited by Aden Duale in Parliament today. We are tolerating a lot of mediocrity and abuses from our elected leaders in Kenya.
President Ruto should stop dismissing Kenyans with polished GDP figures, fake growth numbers and fake hustler narratives.
Almost every Kenyan has a story of a relative, friend, or neighbour who was stable two or three years ago but is now struggling to survive. He should leave the podium, go to the ground, and see the real economy....shops closing because rent cannot be paid, businesses dying because customers have no buying power, families skipping basics, and young people losing hope. Go to CBD for instance and see empty shops and stalls.
This tough-headed dismissiveness is exactly what pushed the country into the deadly Finance Bill crisis. Kenyans pleaded, warned, protested, and still the government behaved like citizens were the problem. By the time the climbdown came, families were mourning.
The fact that Oscar Sudi and the people around him are doing well does not mean the economy is okay. Their wealth is not Kenya’s economy. The real economy is in the kiosks, salons, workshops, farms, markets, rental houses, and homes where people are quietly breaking.
Ruto must stop lecturing hungry people about growth. A country is not doing well because those around power are eating. A country is doing well when ordinary people can breathe.
🚨 King Charles just hit President Trump with a hilarious comeback at the State Dinner:
“You recently commented, Mr. President, that if it were not for the United States, European countries would be speaking German. Dare I say that if it wasn’t for us, you’d be speaking French.”
Trump laughing, the room cracking up, perfect banter between two leaders who clearly respect each other.
Nairobi Hospital Board Member Eric Okeyo putting anakonda in his place! He has DECONSTRUCTED and EXPOSED the Sugoi CONMAN mercilessly! Indeed, fear is gone!

Joe Sang, the embattled former KPC MD, was dismissed during Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration, following his involvement in a scandal surrounding the Ksh 1.9 billion Kisumu oil jetty project.
When Ruto came into office, the charges against Sang were dropped by the ODPP, Dr. Macharia Irungu’s tenure at KPC was cut short under unclear circumstances, and Sang was reinstated to the position.
Why did Ruto return to office someone who had stolen from Kenyans? What was the motive? Could he have been a beneficiary of this loot?
And now, he has had the same Sang fired and arrested over a Ksh 4 billion fuel importation scandal…
Could Sang have become clever and started cutting off the boss from these deals? Or is this just a cover up?
From ‘Hustler’ to hurling insults: Kenya’s 5th President dragging the exalted office into the mud with childish name calling. A sad day for decorum and respect. Disgrace personified.”#kasongo wantam!
@MutembeiTV Wanga and Otiende leave the presser unexpectedly because they know the land grabbers . We Kenyans stand with Tuju. #Kasongo Rudisha shamba ya Tuju
Fellow Ugandans and friends of Uganda!
Two months ago, Museveni yet again usurped the will of the people of Uganda and declared himself president on gunpoint. A day later, gripped by shame and fear, the military invaded my home to harm me, but I was able to evade them and go into hiding.
Over the past two months, the regime has looked for me everywhere. They have raided the homes of many colleagues and fellow leaders, mounted roadblocks and spot checks of vehicles and motorcycles, arrested and dismissed the police officers assigned to my campaign, raided our home in the village, and kept my home under siege. Well, they couldn't find me because the people of Uganda sheltered me and protected me.
Today, I am announcing my brief exit from the country to handle important work. Over the next few weeks, I will engage with our friends and allies all over the world before returning to Uganda to continue the push for freedom and democracy! For now, let's remain focused and united.

Listen friends and enemies, the issue is not whether Raphael Tuju and his companies are in debt or default. Everyone is. In fact, the Government of Kenya is in debt and in default. Should we send goons to Government offices, and everyone in debt and default with the assistance of corruptly obtained orders?
We are all broke. I am. You are. The Government of Kenya is. It has admitted so time without number. So you want to tell me that it is only Kiprono, Kiprop and Chebet (all mentioned by Raphael Tuju) who have billions of shillings in the collapsed economy to buy someone’s hotels in an auction when everyone, including the Government of Kenya where they serve and/or are doing business with are broke? Sisi siyo wajinga ma Fren!
The issue is the corruption belying the arbitration award in England and the decisions of Kenyan Courts, alleged to have been corruptly procured. An award or judgment obtained corruptly is null and void. That is elementary law. In fact, cases abound where securities given for lending have been exempted from realization through auctions or private treaties on account of corruption, fraud, unfairness and unconscionableness on the part of the bank.
Remember the Supreme Court Act initially contained a section for the invalidation of a judgment of a Judge removed from office for unsuitability to serve. The section was removed mysteriously.
Why are you ignoring the uncontested allegations of corruption between the arbitrator and one of the parties together with its Advocate? Why are you disregarding the forgery of documents filed in Court by a Senior Counsel in a leading Ivy League Law Firm?
Do you know that one of the men arrested on Monday soliciting for a bribe represented that he has a child with the Judge on whose behalf he was soliciting? The level of corruption in the Judiciary in general, and in this matter in particular is so egregious that I cannot agree to be persuaded by the popular but uninformed narrative that this is a case of a defaulter debtor abusing the legal process not to pay. It is not.
