@pitandirangu A genuine question CPA. I know a friend. Doesn't do any business but took a short term assignment by an organisation which paid and withheld 5%. No etims for any expenditure in that duration is available. Think transport, food, accommodation etc. What would be the move here?
@AmbokoJH This is very much welcome. Let telecoms create new numbers to meet demand. It has never made sense to me why someone's identity must be sold becuase they did not top up airtime. Some of those lines have broader purposes.
@pitandirangu Do you mean individuals who are paid as consultants will have to prove transport, water accommodation, food, airtime etc through etims? Until recently, I did not even know I was supposed to file returns for withholding tax once the employer withheld and remitted.
