And now the Liberals want to formalize the bias.

An April government memo and the Liberals’ own 2025 platform both push to make “combating misinformation” part of CBC’s official mandate — complete with a promised $150-million annual funding boost on top of the $1.2 billion+ they already take from taxpayers.

Meanwhile, the Ethics Commissioner’s own documents show Mark Carney is under a formal conflict-of-interest screen covering 103 companies, most of them linked to Brookfield, where he previously served as chair and still held millions in stock options.

That screen has already been triggered multiple times on government files.

Yet the same CBC that obsessively digs for anything on Poilievre treats Carney’s 103-company web like it barely exists.

When the state broadcaster already applies different rules to different sides, and the governing party wants to hand it even more power to decide what counts as “truth,” this isn’t journalism.

It’s protection.

3 years ago CBC ran a piece called “Recapturing our flag” The clip was meant to disparage those who waved it during the Convoy as a symbol of freedom & protest. Fast forward to today & it’s now ok to wave the flag by all of them as a symbol of freedom & protest against the U.S.
How captured are these individuals? Our very own Government locked you down, they mandated you inject something under your skin or you will lose your job and your ability to enter businesses, they made your children take it, they banned millions from air travel and instead of standing up for what was right then as a free citizen you chose to take the Governments side?
It’s become clear that the left have zero ability to think for themselves, just witness what’s happened over the last 14 months. They still believe our Government is going to save them based on zero results. Why? My statement on antisemitism in Toronto and the attacks on two Kiva’s Bagel locations:

“The reported attacks targeting Jewish-owned businesses in Toronto are outrageous and completely unacceptable.

I’ve reached out to a number of rabbis and Jewish community leaders in Toronto. There’s been too much antisemitic violence directed towards the Jewish community. This is just the latest data point in a very long list.

I spoke with one of the owners of Kiva’s and he put it succinctly - ‘The criminals broke the glass. Police did their investigation. But we kept Kiva’s open. We will open again, tomorrow.’

And we will support them. Toronto will support them.

Every person in this city deserves to feel safe in their community, at their place of worship, and at their place of work.

The Mayor has offered sympathies and support. Clearly, that hasn’t been enough.

I’m calling on the Mayor to immediately bring forward an urgent strategy to confront antisemitism, working with Toronto Police, the Jewish community, and all relevant partners, to ensure these crimes are investigated and those responsible are arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. If she does that, she’ll have my full support.

Toronto’s Jewish community deserves more than just thoughts and prayers.

Toronto is not going to remain a city where Jewish store owners sweep up broken glass.

There is no hope for Canada. We are not a people of merit and we will suffer for our stupidity.
