Today I just so happened to enter a classroom at a moment when the teacher knew the lesson wasn’t going the way she had planned. Her response:
“Hey can you stay a minute and give me some feedback?” 👏🙌
Sometimes excellence come in the form of asking for feedback. Excellence isn’t about being the best. It’s about holding the desire to constantly be better. We could all learn a lesson from this young teacher. Whatever position you are in, never stop being willing to accept feedback. That’s the only way to improve. #multiplyexcellence
This time of year, some teachers, staff & admin may feel overwhelmed or need help. Most will not reach out because they think it makes them look weak or incompetent. Take a moment to check in with each other and let them lean on you if they need it. Teams build each other up!
Our March is Reading Month read-aloud this week is "The Kindness Quilt". Use the link below to listen to the story, then create your own quilt with ideas of what kindness means to you! https://t.co/erxi6713lM
Hey Quarton Bears, Did you know that winter is over, and spring has begun? Get outside today and keep and eye out for some changes taking place. What are some signs of spring you see outside your house and in your neighborhood?
Designing with one of our favorite authors! I have included engineering & design as part of my kindergartener’s schedule for learning at home. @QuartonBears tune in and this might be a good time for us parents to get some work done.
We kicked off March is Reading Month with a fantastic Bear Den activity that went along with the book Scribble Stones. All the students discussed kindness in their peer den before creating their very own scribble stone. The stones went home in hopes of spreading kindness.
