@clhubes I have nothing to add here because I will never afford my own house, but I love seeing everyone else’s creative ideas! I feel like years of playing The Sims has geared me towards every room having a different colour. 😂
@authorbellajay Smiling with the hugest grin on my face, the trying not to cry along with her while in transit. This woman is so happy and beautiful!!! Her joy is contagious, and she’s going to turn all the heads t her event! ❤️
@bonerhitler paycheck to paycheck in one of Canada’s most expensive cities?? I was glad I was able to opt out, but now I wonder if all juries are just retired and or rich? Glad to see you were able to do something positive though!
@bonerhitler I’m in Canada, and I was so exited when I was selected! It’s kind of rare here. Until a realized I wouldn’t be able to afford not working and getting 20 bucks a day. Which made me wonder how we can be judged by our peers when the only people on jury duty are people not living
@realscienceme @SnuffaLuffa_ @mamamistrael @FemiYahtzee I went to the hospital when an aura that I had caused me to stop being able to speak or read. It only lasted a bit, but it scared the shit out of me. Haven’t had one in years though.
@samreich Subscribed to dropout since I was allowed to as a Canadian, and I’ve gotten quite a few of my friends to join too. The only subscription service that I’m kind of uncomfortable sharing my password because “you should really just support them”
So proud of what you guys have done!
@shannonpurser Shame to see where they went after that. A few looks on the website tells me they’ve shamed themselves for some reason. I couldn’t find a single cute two piece swimsuit recently. Also realized without the employee discount, I could NOT afford it. Haha
@shannonpurser I used to work for Torrid in 2016. The first store in western Canada. They were still owned by Hot Topic back then. Still a lot of cold shoulder cheesy stuff, but a lot more risqué stuff and for me it was my introduction to being fat and sexy. It really helped me.
@Iloveburrows @chels_eaalberta Most people I know that want to move to Alberta talk about it because of home ownership. I currently live in Vancouver and I make the most I have ever made compared to Alberta. I’m still struggling with money, living with five roommates. I don’t think I’d go back though.
That being said, I’m sure it could help a lot of people. As you put it it, my main concern with CBT is that it’s kind of the end all be all. Like it kind of feels like a lot of therapists are like “yeah im trained in CBT, what else do you need??”
@grumpyshrubbery I didn’t like CBT personally because I felt like with My ADHD it felt kinda pointless. Like I know my thoughts aren’t really correct, but I feel them! I also didn’t like that I didn’t even know what it was and I kind of had it used on me without knowing.
@chunkbardey I laughed at this tweet, and I was just going to scroll on when I realized I might be able to get tips and tricks in here! Problem is I have five roommates, and I don’t think any system will ever work unless we’re all onboard.
