Fairy tales have long been my framework for making sense of the world and uncovering its magic. So, so (sososososo) excited to be bringing fairy tales filled with strong, gutsy heroines to life with @Triciaelin and @randomhousekids ✨
And, FYI, if you want a writing partner, pick a human. There are so many out there that would love the same thing and who can bring real, lived experience and genuine care to your work.
I have so many thoughts about this, one of the biggest being that creativity is not supposed to be efficient. It's not supposed to be automated. Writing should be hard, and gloriously messy, and challenging. And that's also the joy of it.
Today's a big day for Sudowrite. We're launching Story Engine, an AI tool for writing long-form stories.
Our awesome team worked with hundreds of novelists for months to build the ideal interface for writers and machines to collaborate on a narrative.
writing should be hard lmao. you’re supposed to be stuck. life is painful and then gives way to beauty you losers. we are going to create a bunch of people who feel miserable bc they don’t have the satisfaction of the labor of making something. efficiency is boring.
I've been working on my craft for over 20 years. From Riverside High School, to El Paso Community College, to UTEP, and finally my MFA at The University of Arizona; poetry has been my life and journey. So, I am proud to announce that my first book will be published by One World!!
So so so excited to announce that I've signed with the amazing @HilaryHarwell and joined the @ktliterary family! (Couldn't have done this without books on obscure mushrooms, the Wicked soundtrack, and my emotional-support cat, who doesn't care)
