Myanmar’s junta is still bombing in spite of a devastating earthquake and a ceasefire announced by some opponents in the face of the disaster, reports @IrrawaddyNews. Air raids even took place near the epicentre as well as northern Shan State, it said. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar

Myanmar earthquake's scared reality

The pains, suffering and agony of the affected families are immense, beyond what words can express.

In their time of grief and profound sadness, the survivors find support from the monks in Myanmar, who offer blessings and encouragement as the survivors sit and kneel down before the bodies of their loved ones on the street.

These families have faced a double tragedy: they lost their loved ones in a severe natural disaster and have also lost their homes for which the bodies of their loved ones lay on the street before proper burial service.
