A3. I think this shows implications at the macro level observing from a policy/home care standpoint. For example, social workers working in child welfare, maybe if there is child abuse, they can note that there is possible domestic violence? Same for the opposite. #macrosw
A2. These topics don’t apply directly to my work. But with children owning support pets or just household animals, I do observe distress when an animal passes. I have noticed that my students with support animals seem to have better coping at home because of the animal. #macrosw
A1. I am the rare few who do not have an animal and have never had a pet other than the occasional fair fish. However, living alone during this pandemic I have actually wished that I had a furry friend to keep me company. It has been a difficult time being alone. #macrosw
A5. I think that this shutdown has shown us that many things can be virtual rather than in person. I believe that we can utilize technology more in future conferences. I think conferences should also become more interactive using technology. #macrosw
A4. I think virtual conferences can remain meaningful and engaging if you limit the number of participants to the amount where everyone can participate and interact. I also think that more than ever presenters need to be engaging and animated to draw in participants #macrosw
