NEW: Students with F-1 visas will be exempt from travel restrictions to the U.S., the State Department announces. The new exemption includes Brazil, South Africa, and, most notably, China, the top source of international students https://t.co/If3J9xLV9C
The lifting of the travel restriction is the second piece of good news for international students and U.S. colleges in as many days. DHS announced yesterday that it would extend guidance permitting flexibility in online study for international students https://t.co/vnDPAoR5Au
