@Osinttechnical Is there any chance you can omit the musical soundtracks?
War is not a video game, it's not Hollywood, it doesn't star Tom Cruise or Sylvester Stallone and there's absolutely nothing glamorous about it.
Yep.
Japan is now reopening its furloughed nuclear plants.
In the aftermath of Fukushima closure was almost inevitable, but they've tightened regulation and inspection and realise that they have absolutely no choice given the lack of domestically-controlled energy resources.
@Brad_Setser A long time ago, when I was in finance (sorry), I was not allowed to do anything in Italy because it was about to explode.
Henry Kissinger was on the board.....

Would there be an advantage in targeting just household spending?
Davina Perrin smashed a blistering hundred off just 42 balls in The Hundred Eliminator 💯

@DominicCaddick@Frances_Coppola@NEF Not sure that the deferred asset approach taken in the US would work in the UK, where BoE is a consolidated subsidiary of HMT in the Whole of Government Accounts.
@bbctms Why is the bowler's economy in the Hundred scorecards reported as 6 x runs / balls?
Shouldn't it be (a) 5 x runs / balls (ie runs / set ) or (b) runs / balls since the bowler's completed effort is expressed as balls bowled and the match is 100 balls.
It's confusing!
@JoeTruzman While Israel thought it had Hamas contained in Gaza, did it want to defeat it? It was a useful enemy (strongman Netanyahu could use the latent threat when campaigning), and knew that Hamas would seek to frustrate any move to a two-state solution which also suited him.
