Anyone thinking of using National vehicle rentals (NVR) think twice. We hired a vehicle 27th December returned 4th January. Still waiting for our £500 deposit to be refunded. Many phone calls and no returned calls. Several emails, agreed they owe money, but still no receipt.

@juliecordiner All we get in Slough is an indicative budget in February, showing amounts for from government. No info on staffing cost, or increases, no feedback on budget when it’s agreed. Totally left to schools to organised. Most schools in slough are now academies.

@Suba_SBM Ok as 3fe we have 1 attendance officer, 1 receptionist/admin, finance officer, Senior finance officer doing HR and finance and myself as SBM on SLT. All full time. Plus Wilson the school dog 😀

@TEL_europe @ISBL_news What a year. We could all do with a break from the ongoing work load, purchasing of PPE, fsm voucher sarga, reporting of absences due to COVID , the list goes go. But we smile through it, and sort it out. I love my job, but it certainly has its challenges. I need a break 😂😂
