Balik dari Melaka, ada yang numpang nak ikut pula. Wife drive tapi tak boleh tekan minyak, kaki rasa berat. Cari tempat terang, park tepi terus tukar driver.
Wife masuk terus tak sedar then menangis cakap “nak ikut”. Bukak tingkap halau benda tu keluar sambil baca Ayatul Kursi.
First time jadi. Meromang bulu tokuk Matt sambil burak dengan benda tu dalam kereta 😬
🇯🇵 Japan imports 90% of its oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Iran just offered to let Japanese ships pass safely.
Tokyo said no. Not because they don't need the oil. Because Washington is still holding the leash.
Iran opened the door. Japan looked at America. And closed it.
The panic is real. The dependency is clear. The empire still decides who trades and who starves.
Japan needs energy. America needs control. Iran holds the strait.
One of these will break first. And it won't be the strait.
Because for some people, drop off means, park car, off engine, help take out luggages, find trolley, load luggages onto trolley, lock car, help push trolley into the departure hall, find the check in counter, then wait chit chat for 15 mins, peluk cium salam² only then leave.
Their 'drop off' is really like a 30-45 minutes activity! And all the while the car is parked at the slip road in front, hogging the soace meant for real "drop off".
In fact i wish it should be more expensive to really teach a lesson. Drop-off means open door, take bag, close door and go. Simple!
Since he learnt his lesson in a hard way, hopefully his experience would teach others to plan in advance their drop off.
Memang WIN brader Raz ni expose satu per satu pasal food festival kat Malaysia ni. Semuanya dah kena scammed dengan duit yang korang bayar mahal2 tuh. 🤣
Sometimes I think my brother is our own kind of Forrest Gump. He was born breech, his delivery was sort of delayed and that caused him developmental problems. Slow learner they said. Stuttering badly. Always lost in his own world. Got bullied physically and mentally at school despite our father was a teacher at the school.
On his 10th attempt of repeating SPM, he told mum it could be his last attempt. On multiple occasions, he cried.
That led him to another two attempt of STPM. Led him to successfully graduated with a degree. Then another with DPLI. Meanwhile, he did oddjobs; being a guard at the hospital, schools, old folks home and helping our father at the paddy field.
On the day of his interview, he was asked about his OKU card at the end of the session. He admitted having it for being a slow learner; OKU pembelajaran. The moment he stepped out of the interview room, he went to our mother, and cried, probably out of relief, or from feeling like he was near the end of his long fight. And today is the day he is officially a teacher at a school. And he’s starting his life fresh and anew, at the age of 37.
He is still him, the older brother I’ve known since we were small. Still being as he is, just like how Forrest Gump was at the end of the movie. Still him, but he created history through perseverance and grit, straight from his own life.
It’s true that he received great support from our mother, father and all of us siblings. But one fact in life is that you can’t help a person if the person doesn’t want to be helped, even if the whole world lends a hand. But in this case, he helped himself, hence he got helped.
All the best to this new chapter, this new endeavour at the new place. We will always be there for him, through and through, as long as he is through and through with himself, as he always has been.
All the best Ed! Kijo molek!
Marriage isn’t about 50:50. It’s not about 100:0 either.
Yesterday I wasn’t feeling well. Husb bought us dinner from pasar malam and fed me medicine while I was in bed. He ironed the clothes for us and the kids, did the laundry and washed the dishes.
Today, he went to bed early. Just after Isyak, he dozed off. I could see how exhausted he was. So I took care of the rest of the house chores, ironing the clothes, doing the laundry and washing the dishes.
You see, yesterday, it was 30:70. And today, it’s 70:30. The ratio is never fixed. Sometimes it’s 55:45. Sometimes it’s 60:40. Depends on day. Sometimes it even got to 43.8:56.2
Marriage is about partnership. It’s about complementing and backing each other up. You can’t define it by an exact ratio. As long as both respect each other, understand partnership and responsibility, they’ll make it, insyaAllah.
Imagine this. You prayed for a baby.
You waited for years.
Then finally, your baby came.
But one year later, he is gone.
Not from sickness.
But hit by a lorry at a toll plaza.
People will blame the driver.
But ask this: why was he even allowed to drive?
I don’t think he owns the lorry.
The truth is... many business owners don’t care about safety.
They don’t send their vehicles for maintenance.
They don’t fix what is broken.
They don’t hire competent people, mostly just to save cost.
And still, they let these lorries go on the road.
If you’re that business owner:
How do you sleep at night, knowing your mistake has killed a child… and destroyed a family?
I still see it today. Lorries speeding. Buses racing in the fast lane.
If nothing changes, it will happen again. Soon.
Because here, safety is not first.
And until that changes, more lives will be lost for nothing.

#PESTAPORA2025 what the hell is the point of having 2 lines for beverage counter if you only have one handheld paying machine and one person to operate it. Basic fucking common sense.
