that person. i just recently had this. and i couldnt even ask the other person if what we had was real or not. this chapter hurts on so many levels. and i think in the end, we are all optimistic when it comes to love. just to feel something..
reading this chapter. i felt for jo. i’ve been there. and when yw said “why didnt you stop then” i felt jo’s “because i had no reason to” so deep in my soul that it is crushing. sometimes we know, but still hope for a better outcome, for a better future. and stay just to be with+
considering ch97 is the last ch we see her mind was still on it is a prove of this tbh. that chapter was the last chapter it felt like wetsand. but we knew around the execution of k35 ch that she was done with the story.
and i saw someone saying doyak doesnt know how to write love. i agree to that. i think on her mind from the very beginning the idea of painful love between yw and tj was the main thing. she gave them yearning, pain, longing, heartbreaks. but she couldnt give them a normality++
because she’d never planned on that. the idea was painful, gut-wrenching love. but when it came to the normality of love she didnt know how to give that. that’s why she wrapped it up just like that without even giving a proper deserving ending. this is really sad
yeah. it gives the horse drawing meme. unfortunately. as much as i am happy that youngwoo is happy, content and has the life he wanted from the beginning with the man he worship, the story did not deserve this much clumsiness.. ++

this happened to me in the austrian national library. there was an exhibition called global power of love. love in different context throughout the history. while i was fascinated by the architecture, suddenly a wave of grief came to me. love is such a weird notion for sure…
as for the time skip, we dont know yw’s prison years as well. so to expect tj’s prison years or what yw had done in the mean time is to me a bit unnecessary expectation.
i’ve been away for a bit. and seeing things that she didnt care about tjian ending and rushed everything and it is so disappointing outtakes kinda kills the amount of affection i have for wetsand. i know everyone has a right to share their opinions but the whole story++
things do not turn out as perfect as we make them on our minds and i believe the ending is a reflection of that. i think she knew how to make them suffer, but such a love story normally would end up a tragedy but she wanted to give them happiness and that’s why it feels this way
yesterday was a bad day for me so i couldnt make a comment about wetsand. but there’s not much to say to be honest. youngwoo is happy, content and got everything be long for, i am happy.
i think what made this story and the love of yw+tj this much appealing was the angst. that “i love you” felt like it is too easy, but is it tho? it’s the manifestation of 20+ angst and yearning, all those troubles and traumas..nothing can beat their story from the beginning to end

Love how quietly DY slipped in that "I love you"—as if whispering them, as if they were flowing from every fiber of YW’s being, as if they were spreading out into that moment just btwn the 2 of them...
See? True love that has weathered the yrs,not a pretty illusion,+
