@ju_d1th9 I don’t see it at all and I’m so disappointed by it. I was ready to be swayed by their epic forbidden love. Instead I thought that they scream Chaol/Aelin to me. Azriel is at rock bottom and he’s using Elain. It’s not healthy. I didn’t feel their connection either.

@dellicatefawn Adding to this: I do not care who she ends up with. I’m sure Sarah will do it justice. But I see so many people overlooking Az’s mental state, especially elriels. I’m hoping to see him grow, whether that’s with Elain or solo. But let’s not erase mental health either.

@dellicatefawn I agree with Elain not having to grovel and making her own choice! But also genuine question: did you not find Azriels chapters including chapter 6, very… dark? It seemed to me like he was at rock bottom. Instead of dealing with his selfhate, he clung to Elain. Is that healthy?
