I’m not breaking new ground by saying that my Blackpool homie @jongomm is an astounding guitarist. But technique is nothing without heart, and that was there in abundance in his performance at @storeysfield last night.

She’s assembled a great group of musicians and made a great album, so you can probably guess what a @ninanesbitt gig might be like! Her show at @ScalaLondon tonight was full of life and full of stories, and I enjoyed it a lot.

I’m glad that @lastdinnerparty have got fond memories of @ThePortlandArms. I hope they feel the same way about last night’s show at @CambridgeCornEx. If it’s the last time they visit Cambridge, it was a good one to leave us with!

Somehow, Matt Johnson of @thethe wrote songs 40 years ago that work as well now, in his voice now, as they did then. It felt good to be at @CambJunction last night as he and the band shared them with the crowd.

Hey, @KelloggsUKI! Labelling your boxes as “BIG PACK” doesn’t hide the fact that they contain 50g less than they did a couple of weeks ago. But “7% SMALLER PACK” doesn’t have quite the same shelf appeal, does it? #Shrinkflation
