I set up a sting operation to find out who is nicking my milk as it's been stolen for 3 weeks in a row. Milkgate mystery solved. I got them on camera.
If you see them around, let them know they've been rumbled.
A tourist was tossed in the air by a bull bison in Yellowstone National Park. Pretty wild how quickly things escalated and how much ground the bull bison covers after it finished wallowing in the recreational area.
Following this weekend’s events, I’ve been analysing vessel activity in the Strait of Hormuz at @Kpler.
Raw AIS from 28 Feb shows clear GNSS spoofing - vessels drifting over land and pulsing around fixed points (normally far cleaner).

Penn State and Michigan State drew 74,575 fans to Beaver Stadium for today’s hockey game.
That’s more than the attendance at the CFP national championship (67,227).
Only 16 college football teams averaged a higher attendance at home games in 2025.

I once asked a high-performer why they stayed with their company for 10 years.
I expected them to say "the salary" or "the bonuses options."
Instead, they said:
"A few years ago, I had a family emergency. My manager didn't ask for a doctor's note. They didn't check my performance. They just said: 'Take care of your family, we’ve got your back.'"
Retention isn't a "perk." It's a feeling.
If you want to keep your best people in 2026, stop looking at them as "resources" and start looking at them as humans.
Perks like free snacks and fancy offices are great, but psychological safety is what keeps the lights on.
“Can I bring my baby to the interview?”
The message came in at 11 PM:
“Hi, I have an interview with you tomorrow at 2 PM. My childcare fell through. Can I bring my 8-month-old? I understand if you need to reschedule.”
Old me would have rescheduled.
Unprofessional. Distraction. Red flag.
New me replied:
“Absolutely. See you tomorrow.”
She showed up with her baby on her hip.
She apologized three times before even sitting down.
Ten minutes in, the baby started crying.
She tried to soothe him while answering questions.
She apologized again.
I stopped the interview and said:
“Hey. You’re managing a fussy baby, answering complex questions, and staying calm under pressure. That’s literally the job. Handling chaos while staying professional. You’re already proving you can do it.”
Her eyes filled with tears.
We hired her.
She’s been with us for a year now.
The most reliable team member we have.
Why?
Because when you’re used to handling a screaming infant at 3 AM and still showing up to work the next day, workplace stress feels like nothing.
Working parents, especially mothers, are some of the most organized, efficient, and resilient people you’ll ever hire.
Yet we lose them because our hiring processes are built for people with zero caregiving responsibilities.
If your interview process can’t accommodate a parent facing a childcare issue, you’re not filtering for professionalism.
You’re filtering for privilege.
These wooden escalators located at Macy’s Harold Square in NYC were built between 1920-1930 by Otis Elevator Company and all the wood you see is original. Some of the mechanics have been replaced but otherwise they have been running continuously for 100 years! Let’s not talk about Vegas escalators.🤦♀️
This is Bryan. Once a week, he takes a shelter pup on a New York City adventure in his ‘Adopt Me’ backpack, hoping someone will fall in love. He films their big day out, and almost every dog he’s featured has found a forever home. Please leave him a heart ❤️ for helping good dogs find their humans.
Today, I am thankful for every animal rescue, every rescuer, every rescue supporter and to those who love animals and fight everyday for their right to live long and happy lives. If you are reading this, it's likely YOU.
Now, back for a 3rd nap in my FOREVER home.
