Song Kang mentioned his friendship with Taehyung recently. He mentioned how they became friends through a mutual friend and would match up their vacation days to meet up. He also mentioned that Taehyung would pay for their meals.

SK: Even in the army. We were in the same corps, but we had different roles. [Taehyung] is in SDT, the special forces unit. I’m just regular… Calling myself “just regular” makes me feel a bit left out. Regular. Just leave it. I’m just a soldier. Yeah, it’s nothing special. I was a soldier. But now, since there’s a mutual acquaintance I know pretty well, I got back in contact [with Taehyung]. When we had time, we deliberately matched our vacation dates so we could meet up. We’d meet up, grab a meal, and we also went to the PC bang a lot. With the five guys from their team and the five from our unit, we’d even play 5-vs-5 games.
