But, for Aaliyah’s 25th heaven anniversary, it would be fire for MTV to give her the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award.
With every video, Aaliyah stepped up the fashion, beauty, & choreography.
She’s deserving because her influence is still very present today.
As for who should perform for her?
Tinashe - Try Again
Normani - One In A Million/Wild Side
Tiffany Evans - Are You That Somebody
Victoria Monet - We Need A Resolution
Teyana Taylor - Rock The Boat [joined by all ladies]
Chloe - More Than A Woman
Ciara, Sevyn Streeter & Mya would also be great too.
And then, at the end of the performance, all the ladies should close with “Rock The Boat”.
Fatima should obviously creative direct.
@MTV @vmas @VictoriaMonet @ciara @MYAPLANET9 @TEYANATAYLOR @ChloeBailey @Tinashe @Normani @Mstiffevans @sevyn
Aaliyah’s legacy deserves more. Let’s take it back to the music & the visuals.](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GzM1mB0XEAAf3zn.jpg)
