Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, a giant of sports broadcasting. RIP

He took over as RTÉ Radio 1's premier radio commentator when Míchael O'Hehir retired from broadcasting in 1985.

His last All-Ireland final came in 2010, when he commentated on Cork's win over Down in the football decider, and he retired from broadcasting in October of that year.

He died in hospital this morning, aged 93.

By simplifying this we are amplifying it and punishing the wrong people. If you asked an alcoholic to drink less and they’d feel better that would be technically true- but ineffective. The same said of people who need to consume more calories… not the answer.

Government agencies is among the most out of date. Look at research from the likes of Jason Fung… healthcare solutions like that of @Vitality_UK. You say the solution needs to come and that we need lasting solutions… taxes couldn’t be further from this.
