@MedcalfByESPN Very glad I brought earplugs to the game today! Pay the teachers AND the childcare workers who were at the games with all those kids today! (From a current teacher and former childcare worker)
Hey @MinnesotaMunn , Lynx season ticket holder here. We’ve got three more noon games this season and I would LOVE to be able to get an iced coffee in the arena when I arrive during the 11:00 hour. Maybe call it “the twelve” or some other clever Coffey name. @TargetCenterMN
I’m BEGGING a reporter to connect Cheryl’s comment about having to wait a decade to get a head coaching job because MNBA coaches were getting jobs to the 2026 reality where we have under qualified MNBA dudes getting head coaching jobs and no Black women coaches.
When Cheryl Reeve was at a crossroads, people around her suggested she weigh her options.
“I’m a WNBA person,” she vividly recalls telling them. “If this thing goes down, I’m going down with it. And I’m going to stick it out.”
Look how that panned out. https://t.co/Tj16aLfAVi
Hey @CathyWurzer , why not mention the @minnesotalynx first win of the season? Could have ended on a slightly higher note after reporting the Frost and Wolves losses.
@sarahhinde @zcarlbom@jackborman@juliaddaniels I also think the Lynx used to be a premiere franchise, but other teams have built new facilities and the new CBA levels the playing field on other “amenities.” It makes sense to me that Phee is keeping pressure on ARod to keep the Lynx at the top of the league in all aspects.
@sarahhinde @zcarlbom@jackborman@juliaddaniels I’m starting to wonder this too after the comments Phee made in the full interview about wanting more offense and Cheryl’s strong defense structure.
Lynx fans: it feels bad because we have no news, and other teams have news. Do not mistake this for a disaster! That is a defeatist MN sports attitude that should only be applied to men’s teams!
